SERVICES

The Boston Emergency Squad provides Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Boston and Mutual Aid services to surrounding communities free of charge.  The Squad operates two Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipped ambulances and is able to offer ALS level care when one of our Paramedics or a guest Paramedic are present.  We are equipped to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) level care when any of our EMTs are present.

Fire Standby – The Boston Emergency Squad is able to provide standby support to our Towns Firefighters offering them medical services should they require it in the course of fighting fires for our community.

Event Standby – The Boston Emergency Squad is able to provide standby services in our community and the surrounding communities for events such as football games, and festivals like the Eden Corn Festival.

 

Bike Team – The Boston Emergency Squad operates two EMS bicycles that can be used in support of local events in conjunction with other apparatus.

 

 

Natural Disasters – The Boston Emergency Squad is able to provide emergency response and standby emergency response services to natural disaster situations such as the flooding in Gowanda in 2009 and the 2014 Snowvember.  During the later crews were responding to calls non-stop for t

wo days.
